These coasters are a symbol of the strength and power of Hawaii's greatest natural wonder: the Volcano. These handmade pieces are an interpretation of the poky roughness of the a'a lava and made using a technique called raku. Also, each coaster has an imprint of a petroglyph. The porous clay makes it an excellent source for absorbing excess liquid.

Each coaster is handmade and is 4.5" in diameter.
