Resolutions In Hawaii

The first week of January 2019 has gracefully ended and the New Year is in full swing! With that in mind, we know many of you will be looking forward to reaching your New Year goals and resolutions. One of the biggest New Year’s resolutions we’ve seen is to be healthier and get active – luckily in Hawai‘i this is something that’s easy to do!

At Hilo Hattie we believe being outdoors is a great way to keep your mind and your body healthy – some of the things you can do to be more active and take advantage of Hawai‘i’s beauty would be hiking, surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, biking, the possibilities are endless! Some of the more popular places to hike are the Diamond Head Trail on Oahu, the Kalalau Trail on Kaua‘i, Kaena Point on Oahu, Big Island’s Hi‘ilawe Falls, and  Waihe‘e Ridge Trail on Maui – some of these trails are even accompanied by beautiful waterfalls that lead to fresh water ponds you can swim in!

Another way to be more active in Hawai‘i is to take up paddle boarding or surfing. Some beginner surf spots would be Kahalu‘u Beach Park on the Big Island, Kawela Bay on the North Shore of Oahu, Laniupoko on the island of Maui, and Kiahuna beach on Kaua‘i.

Whether your New Year’s resolution is to be more active or see more beauty, Hawai‘i always has an option for you. And when you’re looking for the perfect outfit, we’ve got you covered, too! Our selection of t-shirts are perfect to wear for a day outdoors and our sarongs are ideal to wear after a day of paddle boarding!
